How we started our company!
In 2019 we moved to our farm in Northern North Dakota after a several year stay in MN for our daughter for Mayo. When we bought the farm we said NO GOATS!!! hahah that lasted like two weeks and we bought two pregnant goats so our son could have goat milk once they kidded.
Our son has struggled with a dairy allergy since he was in the NICU and he moving we would no longer have access to the amish we were getting our milk from. So okay only two goats that isn't that bad. Each goat had two babies and now we had milk.
But then I was like umm lets make soap and it was fun and I used any older milk we had it was a great way to use up the extra milk. Then people saw I was making soap and wanted to buy some and try it.
Now I needed more milk haha so more goats came. Soon we had five in milk then ten and at once point we had 20 in milk. Life was great but also wild to say the least.
Fast forward five years and we are now in Kansas with four goats in milk and slowly building our herd up. We have 30goats next year will be wild with many in milk. Our business has had booming times and slower times, with homeschooling five kids and being a mom and a dairy farmer life is never boring to say the least and we will never go hungry with all the milk and farm fresh eggs we have.
